Huntress piercing shot ability disapering and not dealing damage (Windows)
The 4th ability of the Huntress "Piercing Shot" disappears when you use it to close to an enemy and deals no damage as a result, but it still uses the Mana and goes on cooldown.
Repro Chance: 90%
Steps for Bug Repro:

get close to any enemy and fire the piercing shot at them.

Expected Results: Fix it, so the piercing shot can still be used when enemys run up to you.

Thanks for your bug report! We've investigated your report and followed your instructions, but we were unable to reproduce the bug on our end.

Are you shooting Shield Goblins?

Being able to successfully reproduce a bug is critical to the process of bug fixing. Without a successful step-by-step list of instructions to get the bug to happen, we won't be able to fix this bug. If you (or anyone else reading this) have any additional information that could lead us to successfully reproduce this issue, please reply to this thread. If we do not receive any additional information, we will close this report in two weeks, and we'll ask you to resubmit the report once you have new details that could lead to a successful repro of this bug.

Thanks, and we look forward to hearing from you!

Pretty sure this is because of shield goblins.

Personally I would like to see the skill pierce them.

Even if you fire it from behind them, it will most of the time only kill a couple of mobs.

I confirm this bug, since maybe 3 days for me, it never works on any ennemy or on the dummy in town.

It worked before, even if i shot in town without ennemies. Now it never happened.

I have experienced something similar in the past and it might be that the shot is firing straight down through the floor when you get too close. Often if you approach too close to any clippable mesh you can see shots fire off target. Ice Needle can reliably miss in the same fashion.

I've seen this occur when firing at enemies that are very close up or map geometry.  I've never been able to confirm if it's just a graphical issue or not since I never manage to hit with the shot that goes wild.
