So it seems since the most recent hotfix, we haven't been able to unequip gear from our heroes without dragging it. Both right clicking and shift+ right click open the interactive screen, which is different than how it was before. (right clicking would unequip) I have been able to reproduce (just open your inventory, shift + RC, then RC and you will see. Others have had the same problem as well.
